Helen was born in 1899. She was the daughter of Simon Duffin Babcock and Elizabeth Jane Schultz
Marriage to John Harold Cameron on 12 September 1923
She died in 1987 and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville, Dufferin County, Ontario, Canada.

CAMERON – BABCOCK:
St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Orangeville, was the scene of a pretty autumn wedding last week, when Helen Ruth, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Babcock, Alton, Ont., was married to John Harold Cameron, older son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Cameron, Alton. Rev. J. McDonald took the service, Mrs. J. Morrow presiding at the organ.
The bride, who wore white canton crepe, with veil and orange blossoms, was attended by Miss Agnes Meek of Toronto, in grey canton crepe and bouquet of Columbia roses, Hilton Cameron, brother of the groom, was best man, and the ushers were Dr. F. E. Babcock and Allan Cameron, B.A. The bride and groom are spending their honeymoon in the United States.

Funeral Services were held 2 o’clock, Wednesday from Dods & McNair Funeral Home, 21 First Street and Second Avenue, Orangeville. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
