Bourdon was born in 1877. He is the son of Henry Babcock and Josephine Barber. [1] He was raised in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, with parents. [2] His father died in 1889. He lived with his stepmother, Ida and her husband, Abel Babcock. [3]
He married Mabel E Lord at Stonington, Connecticut in 14 Jun 1900. Their children were:

They lived in Pawcatuck, New London, Connecticut. [4] He served in the Army Coast Artillery Corps during World War I.[5] After the War, he returned to his family in Pawcatuck, New London, Connecticut. [6]
Bourdon died in 1945 and is buried in River Bend Cemetery, Westerly, Washington, Rhode Island[7]
