Biography

Germain Babin, son of Jean Babin and Marguerite Boudrot, was born in Village-des-Breau, Pigiguit, Acadia on 29 Apr 1711.^[1][2][3] His christening was recorded by the St. Gabriel Church in Grand Pré, Acadie on 24 May 1711. The records of this church from this era are currently housed in the archives of the Diocese of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, St. Gabriel Church. ^[4]
