When she was 23, Elisabet married Maturin Leblanc, age 25, son of Charles Leblanc and Marie Gautrot 16 Oct 1747 at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia.
Elisabeth Babin, daughter of Jean Baptiste Babin and Marie Marguerite Theriault, was born 27 Apr 1726 in Grand Pre, Acadie and christened at St. Charles aux Mines the same day.  She married Mathurin LeBlanc 16 Oct 1747 in St Charles aux Mines, Grand Pre, Acadie.
