Elisabet Babin was born 27 Apr 1726. She was the daughter of Jean Babin and Marguerite Theriot. She was baptized the day she was born at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. Her godparents were Rene Babin and Elisabeth Leblanc.[1][2]
When she was 23, Elisabet married Maturin Leblanc, age 25, son of Charles Leblanc and Marie Gautrot 16 Oct 1747 at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia.[3][4]
She died sometime before 16 May 1763 when she and her husband were not listed to go from England to St. Malo with their daughter.
