Like to learn more on the pre-1700 Babin family and how they Married into the DeJean family through J bit Boisdore 1796 or Barbeau , Barbot , DeJean family line . Have some neat photos of the family in Paris . Like to hear more back stories if any of the family has them. Hi John, I am a direct descendant of Antoine Babin. He was born in France around 1626 or 1631. Around 1662 he married Marie Mercier daughter of an unknown Mercier and Françoise Gaudet. They eventually migrated to Acadia from France.

Hi again Darrin,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

WikiTree as a pre-1700 Acadians Project and a post-1700 Louisiana Project. Review the project pages to learn how to collaborate with the project members and about any special profile or sourcing guidelines.

PPS Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? You can add more, up to 20 total.
