Marie (Babin) Russell is a descendant of an Acadian

Marie Babin was the daughter of Joseph Oliver Babin and Elizabeth LeBlanc.^[1]
She was born August 22, 1800 in Shelburne County, Nova Scotia.^[1][2], and was baptised October 12, 1800 by Jean Mande Sigogne at Eel Brook, Nova Scotia.^[1]
She married Patrick Russell, the son of Michel Russell and Marie Colman, on May 1, 1832 at Ste. Anne's in Eel Brook.^[3]
The couple had at least 5 children:
