Antoine and his family were exiled from Acadie by the British to their Colony of Maryland in 1755. [2]In the report on Acadians dated 7 Jul 1763 Port Tobacco, Charles, Maryland, he is listed with his wife and sons François, Firmin, Charle, and daughters Claire, Rose, Anne, & Marie. [3]
On "List of Acadian Families Who Have Come to Establish Themselves in This Providence [sic] of Louisiana and Are Lodged in the Habitation Constructed by the King," dated 7 Feb 1768:
