Seaborne Batchiler married first John Cromwell who died about 1663.[1]During the time of her marriage she was brought before the court on May 6, 1657 "for committing folly with Ezekiell Everell, being with child by him & marrying with Jno. Cromwell..." She confessed and was sentenced to be whipped with twenty stripes. On May 12, 1657 midwives examined Seaborne and reported "it is more probable by what we find she is with child..." so she was not whipped, the deputies indicating "we don't know the outcome."Cite error 3; Invalid <ref>

Both admitted guilt; Robert received 20 stripes punishment and Seaborne's punishment was "openly whipped 15 stripes on her naked body," since this was her second offence.
Seaborne Paris, wife of "Roberd", died in Chelmsford on 28 September 1664, about two months after the birth of her son Thomas Paris.[2]
