Disputed origins:

At one time, the profile of Elizabeth (aka Elizabeth Bachiler/Bachiler-65) was associated as the daughter of the woman called Ann (Bate) Bachiler. The latter profile is otherwise the first wife of Rev. Stephen Bachiler; she was the mother of all his known children.

The relationship between Elizabeth (Bachiler) Way and Ann (Bate) Bachiler has been severed:

  • No daughter named Elizabeth, nor daughter married a Way was associated with Rev. Stephen Bachiler and/or his first wife by Robert Charles Anderson in his 1995 Great Migration article about the Hampton, New Hampshire founder.[1]
  • No such child, Elizabeth, was reported earlier, in the 1936 work by Charles Hull Batchelder, [2] Likewise, Charles Hull Batchelder did not identify any of Stephen's daughters who had married a Way.

Remaining challenges.

Profile of Elizabeth Bachiler/Bachiler-65 does not yet provide the references, reasoning or logic that would would be helpful in the process of developing her identity. For example, the profile does not identify or estimate this Elizabeth's date of birth, nor are vitals available about her death. No locations are associated with her.

Identifying this Elizabeth is challenged further because no vital or source are reported for her associated son, called John Way on the profile, but Aaron Way in the narrative Likewise, no vital dates are associated with the son, William Way, associated as the son of John Way/Way-303.

Some opportunities and/or conflicts concerning this profile were outlined in the G2G post, "Elizabeth (Bachiler) Way/Bachiler-65 seems confused profile." This includes that while an early man, Henry Way, was reported to have a wife Elizabeth (called ""Elizabeth (Batchelar) Way" on WikiTree), Robert Charles Anderson's profiling Henry found (a) no such maiden name is confirmed for Elizabeth and (b) no such son, John or John E. Way.[3]

As time permits, hope for comments/collaboration about Elizabeth (Bachiler) Way.

See the G2G proposal seeking to sever her from relationship with mother, Ann (?Bate) Bachiler.

Thank you in advance.

As this conflicts with the results of modern research about the family of Stephen Bachiler, hope those familiar with the Way history will post the references and logic by which this Elizabeth is otherwise associated as a sibling to the various Batchiler/Batchelder children.
