Catherine (aka Catharina or Catarrina) was born in 1722 to Johan G. & Anna Maria Schnebelli (Bachmann).
She married Abraham Clemens and they had seven known children.
She died in Pennsylvania in 1810.
Previous versions of this profile provided conflicting accounts of certain aspects of Catherine's life.
According to one, she was born in Germany and emigrated to Pennsylvania with her parents. By another, she was born in Coopersburg, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
Her place of death was given as Hanover, Pennsylvania in one version and as Skippack, Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania in another.
Currently we lack sufficient sources for resolution of these differences. (While Find a Grave may be cited for some of this information, as of this writing, no sources are provided in the Find a Grave memorials.)
