Solomon J. Back was born to John Carson Back birth 10 May 1831 in Stonega, Russell, Virginia and Catherine Back (maiden name is Back not Day and please do not email me and tell me her maiden name is Day I have a copy of the Bach Bible and all the records recorded there) birth 29 Feb 1836 in Harlan, Kentucky. His wife Louisa Fields Back (yes this is her maiden name as well as her married name, her father was Stephen Back and he was not married to her mother)born 20 March 1860 and died 28 Aug 1924 resting place is unknown. They were married 29 December 1882
