Robert Heinrich Wagner, born as Robert Heinrich Backfisch on October 23, 1895 in Eberbach, Grand Duchy of Baden, German Empire. He is a son of Peter Backfisch and Katharina Wagner.
He is Gauleiter of Baden, and Gauleiter of Alsace and Head of the Civil Government of Alsace during the German occupation of France in World War II.
Robert dies on August 14, 1946 in Fort de Roppe, Belfort, France.
