Harry was born on 14 Mar 1895 in Gays Mills, Crawford County, Wisconsin. He died on 17 Oct 1979 in Rock County, Wisconsin and is buried at Milton Lawns Memorial Park - Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin.[1]

Harry E. Bacon, 84, of County A, Harmony Township, died Saturday morning in a farm accident. Born March 14, 1895, in Gays Mills, Bacon married Margaret Zintz in Gays Mills in June 1914. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Bacon had farmed most of his life, in Crawford County before moving to the Harmony Township farm in 1945. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Earl and Beauford, both of Janesville; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Starks of Janesville, Mrs. Genevia Quade and Mrs. Eva Reed, both of Milton; a brother, Floyd of Mauston; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton, with burial in Milton Lawns Cemetery.
