Unfortunately, John Nathaniel Bacon of New Kent was not the son of Nathaniel Bacon 'The Rebel' and Elizabeth Duke. Elizabeth was involved in a English court case with her second husband Thomas Jarvis. I have found the transcript of that court case on the website in The Family of Nathaniel Bacon 'The Rebel', in The Virginia Magazine of History and Biography Volumes XIV and XV. In part it says that the said Nathaniell Bacon att his death left issue only twoe daughters (to witt) Elizabeth and Mary and that the said Elizabeth one of the said daughters is dead without issue.

John Nathaniel Bacon was more likely the son of Edmund Bacon and Ann Lyddall who lived at New Kent. They had a son John who married Sarah Langston and after her death to Susannah Parke.
