DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Catharine by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Catharine:
I think George Zimmer (1768-1850) is the son of Peter G Zimmer and Elizabeth Casselman. I recently unlinked this George and added Peter G Zimmer as his father not realizing that Catharine Barbara (Bader) Zimmer (1723-1782) is Project Protected! I Believe that he should be attached. His DOB of 1768 is still being researched. His parents were married 17 Nov 1770 and I'm looking for a record of George's baptism after this date.
Manuela has added a research note pointing out that this is likely a conflation of two different women. Not surprising given that this profile is the result of no less than six merged profiles.
I propose disconnecting Scholl-82 and his son from this family and creating a new Catherine Barbara Bader, daughter of Johannes, as his wife.
I am not opposed. I'd like to hear from someone in the Palatine Migration project chime in (are you a part of the project?) I'd need to dig into the sources to offer a more useful reply, but for my part that will have to wait. I will defer to you and project, and the other profile managers at this time.
Bauder-67 and Bader-37 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents, same vitals. Birth in Germany, likely Bader is correct spelling, it is indexed that way from German records. Later use of Bauder possible in Americas
There is a baptism record for Maria Catharine.

There is already George Zimmer (1765-1857) attached as her son. Please advise. Best , Linda

Any objections?
