MARGARET BAGGS[1], (Rebecca Paine, John, Ralph), was born in Freetown on 24 September 1734 and died before 1771. She married there on 20 March 1757 JONATHAN DAVIS, son of Jonathan and Sarah (Terry) Davis of Freetown, born 26 May 1736 and died 1 January 1808. He married second 16 January 1772 Sarah Treadwell of Freetown by whom he had children. [Reg. 16:213, and 20:213;[2] VR FREETOWN; "Davis", PGN.[3]]
EW Peirce mentions that Jonathan "was remarkable for his sobriety, his well ordered walk and godly conversation." [Reg. 16:216.][2]
