Clarence Booth Bagley was born on Nov. 30, 1843 to Rev. Daniel Bagley and Susannah Rogers (Whipple) Bagley, their only child.
Married Alice Mercer[1].
Father of five.
Clarence passed away on Feb. 26, 1932 [2][3] and was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Seattle, King Co., Washington.

- Seattle. Feb. 26 – Clarence B. "Pop" Bagley, 88, Seattle's accepted historian and one of the best known pioneers of this region, died today from pneumonia and influenza. Bagley came to Seattle in October, 1860, from Salem, Ore., only a few years after first settlers arrived here. Later he published a newspaper in Olympia, returning here to be secretary of Seattle's board of public works in 1899. He retired from that post in 1929.
