Joseph Mishell Baham was born on 5 March 1893 at Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 28 June 1900 in the household of his parents, John M. "Sank" Baham and Modeste (Reid) Baham,[2] at Police Jury Ward 5, Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.[3] He appeared on the census of 6 May 1910 in the household of his parents at Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.[4]
He began military service in the US Army, on 19 Sep 1917. He was in Wagoner,116 Infantry, 29 Division, in WWI. He ended military service on 3 June 1919.[5] He and Misoura Pierre appeared on the census of 29 Jan. 1920 at Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.[6] He and Misoura appeared on the census of 18 July 1940 at Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.[7]
Joseph died on 11 Feb. 1945 at Loranger, Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana,[2] at age 51 and was buried at Briar Patch Cemetery, Loranger, Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. [5] His memorial has a photo of his headstone recognizing his military service and a link to that of Misoura.[8]
