Adolphus Baham was born in June 1844 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 14 Aug. 1850 in the household of his parents, Thomas J. Baham and Caroline (York) Baham, at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[2] His father died in 1857 and appeared on the census of 12 July 1860 in the household of his mother at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. [3]
He and Jane (Sarah) Bezou appeared on the census of 16 June 1870 at P.O. Covington, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[5]
He married Rachel Orange Reid, daughter of Darrel Reid and Sarah Ann O'Quinn, on 22 Oct 1874 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[6]
He and Rachel Orange Reid appeared on the census of 8 June 1880 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[7] He was a farmer when he and Rachel appeared on the census of 18 June 1900 at Police Jury Ward 1, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[1] He and Rachel appeared on the census of 9 May 1910 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[8] Somethng happended and Adoph and Rachel seem to have split up as both are in the 1920 census but not living together and they are labeled as widower and widow. He was a blacksmith when he appeared on the census of 9 Jan. 1920 at Cheneyville, Rapides Parish, Louisiana.[9]
Adolph died on 5 May 1925 at Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana[10] and was buried at Reid-Baham Cemetery, Folsom, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and link to that of Rachel.[11]

I am a Great-Great Granddaughter of Adolph Baham. Adolph was first married to Sarah Bezou Baham and they had a child named Clara Baham who was my grandfather's mother and then Adolph Baham married Rachel Reid and had Charles Baham who was my great grandmother's half brother and Adolph and Rachel also had Odile Baham, Josephine Baham, Cassimie Baham, John Baham, and Brewster Baham. I have a document that my grandfather wrote in 1955 stating this.
