Biography
Family lore says that Henry was an orphan, and perhaps he was. Henry Bailey's death certificate lists his father as RICHARD HENRY BAILEY born 1828. The mother was unknown. Records show Richard Henry Bailey registered as a private in the army in Memphis in January 1864.

Bailey-13578 and Bailey-13545 do not represent the same person because: Two separate people. Emmett was my great great grandfather and definitely in Texas. John Henry in PA has to be someone else.
