DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with David or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:

Hello, David

Thank you for responding.

If you could please give us a general idea of the ways in which you have been contributing to the Acadia Project for the last couple of months, it would be very helpful to the leaders.

Hello, David,

On behalf of the Acadians Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let us know if you are still active. If you are active, please let us know in which ways you are currently contributing to the project.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Karen ~ Volunteer Coordinator

Hi, David, I see you separated two first names into middle names on an early french canadian profile in Acadie. The french (Quebec and Acadie) did not have middle names so both names should be on the Proper name line. If they used only one in practice, then that one goes on the preferred name line. You can usually tell that by the marriage record. For more info, see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Quebecois#Guidelines_on_Names Thanks, Cindy

David, Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.

I see you are still adding ancestors, My initial suggestion for your potential ancestors is Quebecois Project, Leader-Greg Lavoie. Click the link to read how to join.

Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list, at the top of your page, 4th topic on right, under <Find> and <Projects>.

For questions, just ask!
