Biography
Australian National Place Names Survey ANPS Data Report No. 1 2016 Name Haerai Mai. House Norfolk Island. Haerai Mai was built around 1928 by Charles Bailey as his family home. He was an expert builder and carpenter and many of the durable houses built on the island during the 1920's to 1940's are of his construction. The home is occupied by a daughter, Mrs Gwen Findlay.
He passed away after 1963.
