Biography
Peninah was born 15 March 1780 to Joshua and Patience (Stanton) Bailey in Southampton, Sussex, Virginia.[1] She married William Trotter 19 Apr 1800.[2]
Research Notes
There are confusing Quaker meeting minutes giving the appearance of two Peninah Baileys. Wm and Peninah Trotter had a daughter Ann born Dec 1805 who married a Mr Scott.[3]
There appears currently no documentation of her death.
