During the American Revolution, Christopher Bailey served as a private soldier under Captains Gale, Shepherd, Smith, and others in the Connecticut militia.
On 1 May 1781, Christopher Bailey, of Hadden, enlisted in Gen. Waterbury's State Brigade (1781). [1]
He was buried in Higganum Cemetery, Higganum, Middlesex, Connecticut.[2]
