I see you removed "Samuel Bailey Sr." from the list of William Sr.'s children. You say Richard was father and Samuel is his son, but the father of Richard still shows it's Samuel Bailey Sr. This Samuel Bailey Sr.'s father is now listed as unknown with comments saying that he probably Willam Sr.'s son. Sorry if that's confusing. I'm just trying to piece it all together.

From what I understand the sequence is: 1)William Sr. 2)Samuel Bailey Sr. (Maybe) 3)Richard 4)Samuel

Is that correct?

The way I have it is these are two unrelated families. We have Richard Bailey (Bailey-24082) husband of Hannah. Hannah's profile is listed as last name Moody but I don't where that came from. Richard had a son Samuel Bailey (Bailey-712) that married Elizabeth Rogers (Rogers-835). I now noticed that her profile has her married to two different Samuel Baileys. I will have to sort that out.

Then we have William Bailey (Bailey-725) married to Grace (Unknown) Lawton. They had a son Samuel Bailey (Bailey-28987).

I hope this is correct. Let me know what you think.

I believe my line of Bailey stems from Richard since much of the info I have matches wikitree. Before Richard is now unknown to me. It gets dicey with so many ancestors all having the same name. I appreciate the work you've all done. I'll try to make sense of it.

The one Samuel was the son of Richard Bailey Born before 29 Dec 1619 in England according to Scott G. Swanson, NEHGR 168(2014):192-198, Richard Bailey of Newport RI & Samuel Bailey of Westerly RI, Father & Son, https://www.americanancestors.org/databases/new-england-historical-and-genealogical-register/image?volumeId=20034&pageName=194.

I have merged him with the Samuel that was already listed as son of Richard.
