I have approved of that merger.
I suggest you have another look at Edward's wife's name; Jane Elizabeth Ashfield, dau of Thomas Ashfield and Hannah, nee Morgan. They married 17 Jan 1856, at Roath, Cardiff, Wales. Their first child was Hannah Ashfield Morgan Fowke, b.11 Oct 1858, at 2 Wellington Stret, Canton, Cardiff, Wales. Kind of explains the family connections, huh? I can provide a heap more data on these Australian families if you are interested.

Congratulations on your Pre-1700 Self-Certification! Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Or you're interested in a particular time period, location, or topic ? Let me know. I can help you figure out if any Projects fit your interests and introduce you to the Leaders.
Projects are a great way to collaborate on your ancestors' profiles and learn the naming conventions and other standards used for profiles from particular places and time periods.
