Jane Gertrude Bailey was born on 08 Oct 1890 in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia as the second child of David Bailey and Ann Fernance. She had thirteen siblings, namely: David Hilton, Reuben Herbert, Hilda Ivy, George Malcolm, Dinah, Rubina Grace, Mervyn, Stella, Henry, Joyce Marcella, Ruth Emeline, Aynsley and Geoffrey. She died on 16 Nov 1981 in Cessnock, New South Wales, Australia. When she was 19, she married Francis Thompson, son of Joseph Pearson Thompson and Louisa Bailey, on 16 Feb 1910 in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia.
