Biography

Nathan was born about 1812 in Onondaga County, NY probably in Fabius where his family had recently settled. He was the son of John Bailey and Susannah (??) Bailey. He grew up in Fabius, and married Lucy ?? in about 1840. They settled in Fabius, where Nathan worked as a laborer and later had a small farm. They had at least six children together. When his son John was grown, he and his family had a neighboring farm. Nathan passed away in 1892 and is buried in the Delphi Cemetery in nearby Delphi Falls, NY.
