- Source: S2291 Times-News, The (Twin Falls, ID) - November 11, 2008 GOODING - On Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, Charlene Baily Dean passed onto a better place. She was born Oct. 22, 1916, in Girard, Kan. Charlene grew up in Hansen and Married Clinton B. Dean in 1936. They moved to Gooding in 1946. Charlene worked at Nelson Drug, the Idaho Tuberculosis Hospital, Idaho State School and served as director of the Gooding Senior Center. She is survived by daughters, Sally (James) Boyd of Idaho Falls and Cecilia (James) Albus of Baytown, Texas; three granddaughters, Krysti (Jeff) Pettingill of Shelley, Susan Boyd of Seattle, Wash., and Danae' (James) Spurgeon of Medina, Texas; three grandsons, Alan (Marie) Stenvall of Twin Falls, Jim (Carmelle) Boyd of Milton-Freewater, Ore., and Kevin Stenvall of Firestone, Colo.; four great-grandsons; five great-granddaughters; two great-great-grandsons; two great-great-granddaughters; her remaining brother, Truman Baily of Hermiston, Ore.; sister-in-law, Helen Wall of Twin Falls; and lifetime friends, Eldon and Claudia Durk of Jerome and Fern Fowler of Essex, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding, with a viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Demaray Funeral Service, Gooding Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Gooding Senior Center, 308 Senior Ave. Gooding, ID 83330, or a charity of your choice. Services are under the direction of Demaray Funeral Service, Gooding Chapel.
