It appears that Helen Willitts-Bain (death information and headstone) and Elizabeth H. Seitz-Bain (christening, marriage records) are the same person considering the information in reference to the census. The difference is that Helen Willitt's headstone reads 23 Jan 1878 for her birthdate. There are no christenings for a Helen Bain to these parents. All research for Helen Willitts has been a dead end. None of this surprises me as this entire family is difficult to research in terms of consistency of information. All research of a "Fred Willits" (on her death information) has lead to a dead end as well.
Elizabeth Helen Bain and Melvin Oscar Seitz separated/divorced before he remarried 24/Apr/1920. I have been unable to locate them in a 1910 or 1920 census, so it is unknown if they had children.
