Moses Bain was born about 1797 in Carrabus County, North Carolina. He was one of the purchasers of personal items at the estate sale of Alexander Bain in December 1843. Also listed as purchasers were James S. Bain, Robert P Bain, Susan Nicholls, Christopher Peters, and Margaret Bain.[1]
