Robert was born about 1840 in Alabama, USA.[1] Robert Bain served as a private in Company I of the Third Regiment of the Arkansas Calvary during the US Civil War.[2][3] He passed away in 1864 from the measles before the war ended. His resting place is unknown. Last known Muster was in February of 1864.
