NOTE:: So far I have found nothing to show he served in the Army?? familysearch.org/fold3/nps.org for a Joseph Baines-Banes-Baynes --Born 1846 he would only be 15 but many boys lied about their ages...
The record below is the only military I can find but he joined in Louisiana and our Joseph BAINES lived in Texas from 1850...........
