Biography

This profile is part of the Nowell Name Study.

Lililia was born in 1864. She was the daughter of William Baird and Charlotte Nowell. She was baptised at St Thomas's, Portsmouth Hampshire on 17 February 1867 with her birth date given as 16 September 1864.[1]

The 1871 census records her at Portsmouth, Hampshire, age 6.[2]

Her marriage to John Simmons was registered at Portsea, Hampshire in the 3rd quarter of 1889.[3]

The 1891 census lists her at Battersea, London, age 26, husband John Simmons, 29, both born Hampshire.[4]
