Biography
When Thomas Seldon Baird was born in December 1844 in Tennessee, his father, James, was 34 and his mother, Caroline, was 29. He married Julia A M Thorn on October 16, 1867, in Gibson, Tennessee;[1] they were the parents of six known children

Julia passed away in 1880. He then married widow Missouri "Zou" Ann (Abbott) Barton, on September 2, 1880, in Gibson, Tennessee;[3] they were the parents of five children

- William Herbert (1885–1957)[4]
- Mattie Lou (1887–1964)
- James C.
- Anna Cora (1890–1979)[5]
He died on June 11, 1902, in Gibson, Tennessee, at the age of 57, and was buried in Trenton, Tennessee.[6]
