Biography

Elizabeth was born Denny, Stirlingshire, Scotland, on the 15 Nov 1818. Elizabeth's husband, William was born in 1816. William Ellis Rolland and family migrated to South Australia in 1849. South Australia was a free state i.e. no convicts were send there unlike all other states in Australia. William was a farmer at Mt. Pleasant north of Adelaide. His sons followed in that trade.

Elizabeth and William had 13 children. She passed away in 1886. ^{[1] [2]}
