Research Notes

?Is this her 1st husband, William Adams: "William Adams, who had been an Ensign in the 6th Connecticut Regiment during 1775, was appointed a First Lieutenant in the 20th Continental Regiment on 1/1/1776. He became Paymaster of the 4th Connecticut Regiment on 1/1/1777 and received commissions as a Second Lieutenant in July, 1777 and a First Lieutenant in May, 1779." https://founders.archives.gov/documents/Washington/03-06-02-0195 I cannot find a burial place or Findagrave page for William Adams.

Her 2nd husband, John Bartmess is said to be buried at the Greenhill Cemetery in Crawford County, Illinois. "John's original headstone was repaired and relocated to Greenhill Cemetery by a loyal family member, C E Adams. This was done to prevent it from being lost forever as it was found leaning up against a barn very near the believed location of the orginal grave. Greenhill Cemetery is less than a half mile (Northeast) from the first grave and located on the same farm. The original inscription can still be read: Loving Hands - In memory of JOHN BARTMESS who departed this life OCT. 22 A.D. 1840 in the 80th year of his life." https://www.myarnolds.com/individual.php?pid=I54974&ged=Arnold.ged I cannot find a burial page for John Bartmess at Greenhill Cemetery.

Bartmess Cemetery in Crawford County, Illinois. Findagrave Cemetery ID #104648. 11 graves recorded. In a wooded area. A lot of the stones are broken & leaning on trees. Not in good shape.
