Biography

Seneca was born in Ausable, NY on 6 Apr 1813.[1] He was the 9th and youngest child of Reuben Baker and Elizabeth White.

Seneca married Joanna M. Green on 27 Dec 1837.[2] Seneca and Joanna lived in Chesterfield and Clintonville. Seneca was a blacksmith.

Seneca and Joanna had four children: Deborah, Lemuel, Hattie and Myron. (All but Deborah married members of the Sibley family.)

Seneca died on 11 Nov 1901 at the age of 88. His funeral was held at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Clintonville, and he was buried in the Harkness Cemetery.[3]
