Biography

Timothy Baker was born in Concord, Massachusetts on 30 Nov 1730 to Joseph Baker and Alice Jefts. Timothy married Mary Dakin on 15 Jan 1761 in Sudbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1]

Timothy Baker is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A005109.

On 19 Apr 1775, he enlisted with the revolutionary forces. He was a private in Capt Samuel Reed's Co in Middlsex, Col William Prescott's Regt.[2] [3] He would have been 45 years old, leaving a six-months pregnant wife and six daughters (aged 2-12 years). He must have been delighted in September 1775 when his seventh child, and first son, Samuel was born. He continued to fight for his country until 1783.

He died in 1810 at age 79.[4]
