Mary was born about 1812. She married John Forst on 25 Apr 1833 at Belmont County, Ohio.[1] In 1840, the family resided in Roxbury Township, Washington County, Ohio. He was age 40-50 with a wife, 2 sons under 5 and a daughter under 10.[2] Among their children are:

John and Mary (Baker) Forst both died in the cholera epidemic of 1850. Their burial place is, so far, unknown.
