In the 1850 census Edward is listed with his parents in Tazewell Co, Virginia at the age of 14. In the 1860 census he is 23 and married to Keziah Justus who is 16 and they are in Buchanan Virginia. In the 1880 census Edward and Keziah are in Hutchinson, McLeod, Minnesota with children Henry 14, Mary Jane 12, Rosanna 9, Salisbury 6 and Amy 2. In the 1900 census Edward and Kizah are now 64 and 57 and are living in Omadi Precinct Homer Village, Dakota, Nebraska. Estella is 16 granddaughter Manie B Baker and grandson Edward Baker. In 1904 or 1905 Edward is in Sherman, Monona Co, Iowa and is now 68. In the 1915 census Edward and Keziah are in Sergeant Bluff, Woodbury Co, Iowa. He is 79 years old. He died in Salix, Woodbury County, Iowa, USA , buried in Liberty Township Cemetery. His two sons T. Salisbury, his wife and Henry moved to Deary, Latah Co, Idaho with their mother Keziah. They all died and are buried there.
