Biography

Sinda was the wife of Sherman Powell and the mother of Glendon Powell, Eldon Powell, Geneva (Powell) Botkin. In 1920, Sherman and Sinda were living in Blue Lick in Madison County, and Sherman was doing farm labor. In 1940, they were living in Berea, and Sherman worked as janitor at the Public School and Sinda worked as a weaver.
