Biography

John Gifford Baker was born in 1817, the son of Tutty Baker Elizabeth Baker. He married Rhoda Ann McMasters Baker on June 28, 1849, in Green, Wisconsin. They had 10 children. He died on May 4, 1878, in Freeport, Illinois, at the age of 61, and was buried there.
