Biography

Samuel was born in 1883. He is the son of Samuel Baker and Margaret Saufley. The 1900 census shows him living in his mothers household with his siblings in Rockingham County, Virginia. His father had passed away in 1897. [1]In 1915 he married Jennie Moore Gary. [2] The 1920, 1930, and 1940 census information shows him living with his wife and children in Richmond, Virginia. His occupation is listed as a home building contractor. [3][4][5]Samuel died in 1956. [6] [7][8]
