Biography

Pamelia Baker was born about 1783 in North Carolina, United States. She died about 1856 in Minden, Claiborne Parish.

"Milly moved a great deal in her life as did several other members of her family. Born in North Carolina, she moved as a young child with her parents to the Pendleton District of South Carolina (now Pickens County). She married there in 1800 and then moved with other siblings to Madison County, Alabama for a short time and then she and her husband moved to Fayette County, Tennesse along with brother Gilbert and family. She ended her life in northwestern Louisiana where she went to live with her married daughter Sarah Johnson." Posted on ancestry.com by jsacherer. It was originally share on 5 May 2021.

Note: Minden is currently in Webster Parish, but at the time of her death it was located in Claiborne Parish. Webster Parish was not established until 1871.
