Biography

Otho was born in 1820 to Otho Baker (1781–1855) and Mary (Cox) Baker (1799-1870). He was a farmer. He married (1) Zella Drusilla Birney (1818-1843) on 17 Jun 1841 in Harrison, Ohio.^[1] They had one son, Robert Birney Baker, then Zella died when the baby was about a year old.

Two years later, he married (2) Catherine Shanks (1829-1862) on 20 Nov 1845 in Harrison, Ohio.^[2] They had a family, including:^[3]
