However by the time of the 1891 Census Philip (50) is alone, but still listed as Married and not Widowed. With him are his sons William (24) and Charles (11), daughter Emma (or Mary) would have been married to James Swinamer in 1887.[1]

William Baker (43) is on the 1911 census with wife Bessie (35) and their children; Ocena (17), Florence (12), Joy (8), Roy (6), Cyril (3) and Lilly (1). A few doors down is brother Charles Baker (28) with wife Lydia (29) and their children Mary (8), James (6), Albert (3) and Philip (10 months?). With Charles is their (now Widower) father Philip (67).[4]
Philip Baker (87) son of Philip and Lucie (writing very poor on this certificate) passed away on Jan 16, 1922 at Louisbourg, NS.[5] His son Charles is listed as the informant.
