James was born in 1835. James Baker ... He passed away about 1900. [1]


There is a marriage record for James M Baker and Martha Butcher on Family search which lacks a photo or exact date. It does have the location[2]

The couple appear on the 1860 Fed Census with the first two children and on the 1870 Fed Census with 6 children.[3][4]
