Biography

John Hammons Baker ("Mucker Jack") was born 12 October 1793 to Robert "Julius Bob" Baker and Elizabeth Hammond in North Carolina. [1]

He married Lucinda Amis.[2][3]

His Find A Grave lists several children of his, not all of which have been researched.[1]

John died 14 December 1869 and was buried at Cortland Cemetery in Cowcreek, Kentucky.[1]

Baker-6601 and Baker-19258 appear to represent the same person because: These two individuals are the same person. Same first, middle, and last name, same dates and locations of birth and death, same father's name. Clearly, some conflicting information about mother's name that will have to be corrected (perhaps one was a step-mother?), but clearly, the same person.
