Living in Bear Flat, Searcy, Arkansas in 1860 and Wiley's Cove, Searcy, Arkansas in 1870 and Bear Creek, Searcy, Arkansas in 1880. According to 1870 census both of his parents were born in Arkansas. According to 1880 census his father was born in Georgia and his mother was born in Arkansas.
